President's Letter

July 2024

Hello, and welcome to Plano East Senior High School PTSA’s website. I hope you will find a lot of useful information about our school and PTSA.

I am Richonda Hunte, and I am thrilled to serve as the President of PESH PTSA for the 2024-25 school year. My husband and I are proud parents of a student from the Class of 2023 who is currently a sophomore at the University of Houston, a PESH Panther from the Class of 2025 who is also the Captain of the Golden Girls Drill Team, and a 7th grader at Murphy Maverick. We have been supporters of eastside PTAs since moving here in 2014.

This year, I would like to invite you to become a member of the PESH PTSA. Together we can create the best environment for our students, staff, and families. Together, we can be the reason someone feels welcomed, loved, heard, seen and supported. Together we can achieve so much.

PTSA is not an exclusive club defined by one person. We are a vibrant group of people from all walks of life, representing the diversity within our community. If you care about our community’s schools and students, you belong in the PTSA.
